Ethics
Jewellery should not only gleam on the outside, but be beautiful on the inside, too. Social responsibility lies at the heart of our business.
Fair trade
We aim to maintain good, long-term business relationships with our suppliers, and it is important to us that they practise fair and humane conditions in every respect; i.e. people receive a fair wage and are able to guarantee their livelihood with the work they do, and all forms of child labour are prohibited.
Steinkult’s modern production facilities feature state-of-the-art technology and fulfil international fair trade guidelines. Our suppliers guarantee their compliance with the guidelines of the International Labour Organization ILO (right to associate freely and bargain collectively, and abolition of discrimination, improper child labour and forced labour). They provide their employees with a safe and healthy working environment (protective clothing, protection from harmful substances, ventilation, etc.).
Environment
In terms of the environment, we commit ourselves to a regular examination of our environmental protection measures and implementation of appropriate action for improvement.
Animal welfare
The leather we use is made exclusively from the skins of animals (goats and cows) that are bred primarily for meat production and breeding. We categorically do not use or work with any products from endangered or protected species.
